BATV Staff
Holly Deitchman, the Station Manager, is no stranger to BATV, as she joined the BATV Board in fall 2004 as the Treasurer. During her years on the board, she familiarized herself with the inner workings of the station and has valued the importance of the volunteers and staff, and their impact to the station. Her business background in accounting teamed up with her unparalled vision and forward thinking have given her a spot on Batavia’s radar of up and coming professionals making a difference in the community.
Jennifer Brens, the Program Director, is a graduate of Batavia High School, a graduate of Southern Illinois University, and has over four years of professional television experience. Jen spent four years in Los Angeles, California working for major networks such as HGTV, Discovery, Food Network and a local television network. Jen came to BATV in late 2007 in a temporary capacity and proved to be invaluable to the organization. Her professional television experience and familiarity with the community has combined to single-handedly increase the quality of programming on BATV.
Jon Benditz, the Technical Director, is also a graduate of Batavia High School, and was a four-year member of the Video Club. Through Video Club, Jon was involved in many projects with BATV and learned many aspects of the behind-the-scenes operation of the organization. Jon has been integral in the website remodel and the successful technical upgrade of both Channels 10 and 17.
