Project Publish is a grass roots reality show that featured a “knock out” competition between local writers and performer pairs. Project Publish aired LIVE on BATV every Sunday from Feb 10th thru March 24th.
Each week, writers were assigned a challenge (dialogue, sci-fi, mystery, etc). That very next Wednesday, writers met with the performer they have been randomly paired with to build their strategy and develop a short performance for presentation on live TV for three judges. The judges consisted of one “resident” writer judge and performer judge. The third “guest” judge was a different member from the community every show. One writer and one performer went home each week until the final episode on March 24th when the finalists were voted on by the live studio audience and Facebook fans.
14 contestants, 7 weeks, only 2 walked away winners.
